UCLA Bruins 1980 Authentic Game Used Riddell PAC3 Kra-Lite II Football Helmet

  

For your consideration is this Authentic and original Game Used UCLA Bruins full size RIDDell PAC3 Football Helmet bearing original paint and the proper size, color, and style decals and number of the UCLA Bruins. Nice large adult size 7 1/4 helmet still retains vintage gray OPO Schutt Red Dot facemask as UCLA used for their skill players of the era. To round out the package is a 4-point low hookup RIDDell chinstrap. This amazing piece of NCAA history has several numbers written in black felt tip marker, with #82 appearing to be the most recent number added. When researching this number along with the dating of the most recent recertifications, it would appear to have been worn during the 1982 season by wide receiver Mike Sherrard.

See 1982 photo of Sherrard catching a pass against Washington. This helmet may have been present at the 1983 Rose Bowl as UCLA beat Michigan to finish their season at 10-1-1 and a number 5 ranking.
